Let there be light...

Whether it was Styx or Supertramp
This was one... at one time or another...

Up up.... in a can....

One of our infamous Oil Can puzzles...
This one was my younger brother's...

Puzzled...

Another great memory of putting this together...

Had to have it

When I saw Kiss in 79, I bought this...
and of course...wore it for the next 28 days...

Bird Feet

My younger brother had a pair of the big bird skippers...

Coloring Books Galore

I loved cartoons and coloring books

We loved Comics...

One I almost forgot we had...

I don't recall who's this was...

Another memory found

I had this...

Steve Austin..The Model

If it's Steve Austin, it's my younger brother's
He had this

Now Playing...

Another book and record...
This was my younger brothers..

and here it is...
in all it's glory

OMFG!

My younger brother, mom or dad really, actually mailed one of these in...

Picked on in school...Reason 2

Yes...I owned one..Yes..
I wore it....
To school...once...
Only once...

So many books...

This was my younger brothers..

Go fly a kite..

Kids really used to go outside once...
and when they did..
we flew kites..
and if you were awesome...
like me...You used this.

Now this was a frickin toy...

Shogun Warriors...
No idea what we did to deserve this type of awesomeness

Back in the bowl...

Star Wars...
We even ate them

All Hail the king

One of my younger brother's fondest memory.
Even though this was MINE....

Side note....

Reason one...
Why I got picked on at school...
I wore this.

We used him as Tonto...

Hartland were the earliest action figures my younger brother remembers...
Here are some we had

He might remember, he might not

My younger brother's toys were cutting edge at the time...
The digital electronic age was upon us and were reflected in his toys.

School sucked...But I survived

The Mead organizer...Wish I still had this...
and inside this one...a couple more memories...
okay...Not Truman though...

I once owned a butterfly....

Really...we all one...there were cool at one time..this is mine...

In the bowl...

Seriously...a hidden memory found today...

It happened again...

Looking through vintage toys sites...I came across this.
In all seriousness, as a child during the space race, I had no idea Ronald McDonald was wearing a space helmet until today.

That's all folks....not really...

This was mine..I STILL love cartoons.

Okay...an anti-hero of the 70s

Nothing was coller than a good bad guy
and for my younger brother it was the Hamburgular.

Oh no...The Roman Prosecutor!

We were a religious family...
and had activities that reflected that.

Popeye...My brother's hero of choice

My younger brother had two heros growing up,
The six Million Dollar Man, and Popeye.
He had this and carried everywhere

Strawberry was the flavor of the seventies...

One of my younger brother's favorite cereals.
And every child had a license plate that came out of a cereal box
in their lifetime.

Welcome to the basement...

The vehicle of choice in out basement...was the Krazy Kar.
This beast was mine....

Technology...in the palm of your hand

This was my younger brother's. But we all played with it.

What's in the bowl?

One of the best memories was morning breakfast.
Who didn't love grabbing the side of the box to examine the niacin levels.
I remember this prize...
It amused me, for about 20 minutes

Inside the box...

Cereal premiums were the best.
Best marketing tool ever invented.
It swayed our choices ALL the time

Wish I still had this....

My mom was into things that kept us quiet for days...
This item did the trick...for a little while at least

On the Fridge...

Once in a while as I look through images of collectables,
I find something that makes me smile. This is one of them.

Another puzzle

Found a memory that I almost forgot about...
Those are the best.

Battleship

Who didn't have this game growing up in the 70s?
Many memories playing this...

He might not remember, But I do....

My younger brother had one of these....
I think between me and my older brother
we were able to 'retire' this sucker before
my brother was 4 years old.
